We’ve been buying Nature’s Own Honey Wheat instead of plain white bread for years. It tastes good, it’s soft, the loaf is fairly large, and it works for everyone in the house. My one-year-old eats it without issue, and my elderly mother prefers it over denser whole grain breads that can feel dry or heavy. Nutrition-wise, it’s not some kind of superfood, but it’s a step up from standard white bread. Compared to basic white sandwich bread, this has a little more fiber and slightly more substance, so it doesn’t feel quite as empty. It still has carbs like any sandwich bread, and it does contain sugar from honey, but it’s not overloaded. The ingredient list is pretty typical for store-bought bread and doesn’t feel excessive compared to similar brands.
